There’s nothing quite as devastating as a broken heart. But a true Cher fan, Zoe Saldana believes in “life after love.” The 34-year-old Star Trek Into Darkness actress hasn’t thrown in the towel just yet when it comes to finding true romance… Even after multiple letdowns. She’s back on the market after splitting from Bradley Cooper earlier this year, and although she’s no Taylor Swift, she still doesn’t feel discouraged.

While Cooper seems to have already found someone new, Saldana is still on the prowl and I envy her unfaltering ego. Despite the heartache, she’s ready to date again. There’s something to be said for people who wear their hearts on their sleeves. Saldana has no problem subjecting herself to the mind-numbing casualty more commonly known as love and I think that’s a beautiful thing.

Even after the actress called off her engagement to entrepreneur Keith Britton in 2011, she tells InStyle UK, “I believe in love because I had it for so long, so I know it’s possible.” Her road to romance hasn’t been easy, and it’s continuously becoming more of a dead-end col-de-sac than a path with a destination. But “what if love is just around the corner?” Saldana questioned in her interview with InStyle UK. That is not an opportunity she is willing to give up, and rightfully so. Just as Beenie Man once said, “everyone falls in love sometimes, I don’t know ‘bout you but it ain’t a crime.”
