The weather may have been chilly at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah last weekend, but the stars looked hot!
The attendees had the difficult task of keeping warm in the cold weather while still looking cute for photographers and the press. But there were a few trends that popped up frequently, and they can easily be worn in real life!
The first trend seen around Park City was earmuffs! Earmuffs may not seem like the most fashionable item, but when worn with other stylish winter weather accessories, they can actually look cute. Plus, they don’t give you dreaded hat hair while still keeping your ears warm!
Another trend worn frequently were cute boots. Boots are a winter staple because they can get you through tough weather like snow and ice while still keeping you looking polished and fashionable. Also, there are tons of different styles of boots to match any outfit for any occasion.
The stars at Sundance sported ankle booties, knee-high boots, rain boots, and the brave even tried to maneuver through snow in heeled boots! Demi Moore (Margin Call) and Kerry Washington (The Details) went for the ankle bootie look while Emma Roberts, (Homework) and Elizabeth Olsen, (Silent House and Martha Marcy May Marlene) chose knee-highs.
The third winter trend seen on attendees was the puffer coat with a fur-trim hood. The puffer coat can keep you super warm, and the fur around the hood makes the outerwear trendy.
Emma Roberts chose a sleek black coat, which is ideal because it goes with just about anything. However, socialite Tinsley Mortimer and actress Elizabeth Banks (My Idiot Brother and The Details) stood out in bright, fun versions of the puffer coat.
