Kate Middleton and Prince William

With all the hype and hoopla surrounding last month’s Royal Wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton, now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, many questions were raised regarding the infamous nuptials.  From what designer Kate would don when she walked down the aisle (Alexander McQueen), to how many kisses William and Kate would share on the balcony at Buckingham Palace (two), and just how many gasps worldwide viewers would let out when the camera panned to best man Prince Harry (I’m still tallying my own score), all the details were duly noted. However, one mystery revolving around the post-wedding plans for the newlyweds may soon be revealed.

According to the latest reports, its official: William and Kate have taken off for their honeymoon. While the exact location has yet to be revealed, People.com received confirmation from the Palace that the royal couple were off on a romantic vacation.

“The couple have asked for their privacy to be respected during their honeymoon,” said a spokeman to People. The question remains, however, just where are the oh-so-adorable newlyweds planning to spend their downtime before the pair begin their royal duties?

While hot spots both in the Caribbean, as well the island of Seychelles in the Indian Ocean, have been suggested, media outlets have been trying to figure out just where that spot is.  But the Palace is keeping tight-lipped about Will and Kate’s whereabouts.

“We are not confirming locations or commenting on any speculation on where they may be going for their private honeymoon, but we can confirm that they have have left,” said a rep for St. James Palace to Us Weekly.

Although it may be quite a bit of time before the public is let in on one of the Royal Wedding’s best kept secrets, for now, all fans of his and her Highness can play an endless guessing game of “where’d they go,” at least until they return.
