the late Whitney Houston with Bobbi Kristina

Bobbi Kristina, the 18-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston, was rushed to the the hospital only a day after her mother was found dead, sources say. She was “having a complete breakdown” according to Fox News, and suffering from some major stress because of her mother’s death.

It’s unfortunate that every other story I read about Bobbi Kristina being rushed to the hospital had different details, but from what I’ve read so far, the young teen has been having an extremely hard time with the death of her mother. Kim Burrel, singer and family friend of Houston’s, spoke to CNN on Bobbi Brown’s behalf.

“As to be expected, she’s overwhelmed — it’s her mother. She knows how much her mother meant to the world. And Bobbi Kristina has a huge heart, just like her mother,” Burrel says.

Bobby Brown, father to Bobbi and ex-wife to Whitney, rushed to LA to be by his daughter’s side.  Sources say that the Bobbi Kristina will be OK.

“She’s going to be OK, and we’re going to see to it.” Burrel said.

I sure hope so. I know Whitney’s family, friends, and fans are taking her her death very hard. Even the Grammy’s was a little somber this year because of the super star’s recent passing. Let’s just hope Whitney Houston’s family can pull together through this unexpected and heartbreaking ordeal.
