Whitney Houston

Rumors have been circulating that a film about the late great Whitney Houston’s life will soon be in the making. It is inevitable that this film would be made, but is it too soon? The award-winning musician hasn’t been deceased for very long. While it may seem to fans this is happening too quickly it is reported that Houston had already began planning revealing the story of her life via camera (not the ones that were already stalking her).

She was planning this venture with her good friend Clive Davis who has now taken creative control over the project completely. There are several actresses who are currently being considered for this magnificent role. After all, we all know this film will make tons of money once it’s finished. Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Vivica A. Fox, and Jordin Sparks are all possibly being considered. There is no way of knowing how serious we should take these role possibilities, but we would love to see Jennifer Hudson play Whitney, although I absolutely hate Hudson’s Weight Watcherscommercial.

These ladies are in the running to portray Whitney

Houston is set to make one last appearance on the big screen in a musical titled “Sparkle” with co-stars Jordin Sparks and Derek Luke. This film is a remake of Irene Cara’s 1976 film of the same name. The film was originally set to be released in August but is now rumored to be pushed up to May.

I can’t wait to see both films. Keep your eyes open for exact dates as they are not currently public knowledge.
