Victoria's Secret

Victoria’s Secret is officially taking over the world, with the announcement of a UK flagship store launching next summer. The store will be on the major shopping mecca, New Bond Street and in response to their massive success on US soil, there are plans to open two more in the London area before expanding to “mall stores”.

The executive vice president and chief administrative officer of Victoria’s Secret, Martyn R. Redgrave told Women’s Wear Daily more about the expansion over the pond:

“The mall-based stores will be large box units with full assortments, but they’re in the UK, not the US, and we have to learn. That’s what we’re looking to do as we expand, in the U.K. in particular, and those will be company-owned and operated.”

Started in 1977 by Roy Raymond in San Francisco, the brand has reached nationwide success and now boasts over 1,000 stores in the US, Canada, and the Middle East. What they are most known for, however, are the models that bring life to the company. Hopefully the UK launch party will have special appearances by current VS models Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Miranda Kerr. One can only hope!
