Versace for H&M is set to hit stores on Nov. 17.

All fashionistas know that H&M is where high fashion meets low prices.  The popular retailer took things to the next level with its collaboration with legendary designer Versace, creating an affordable and unapologetically fashionable line that will be up for grabs in over 300 stores nationwide starting Nov. 17.

The line’s recently released lookbook sent shockwaves through the fashion industry earlier this week, with daring designs and bold prints epitomizing Versace’s off-the-cuff persona.

Versace's line for H&M has several statement-making pieces

Although we are nearing winter, the Versace for H&M designs are anything but frigid.  Body conscious mini dresses, wildly-patterned jackets, and neon pieces run rampant through the collection and channel a more sunny outlook.

“The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace,” says Donatella Versace.  ”For the collaboration we’ve brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace, such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts.  I can’t wait to see how H&M’s wide audience will make these pieces their own.”

Consumers and fashion mavens alike are curious to see if the Versace for H&M line will be as insanely popular as Lanvin’s collaboration with the retailer, which had cheap chic pieces flying off the racks in 2010.
