Usher Raymond did it again! After releasing his 7th studio album, titled Looking 4 Myself, he has  received much critical appraise. This legendary R&B artist decided to create his own unique genre of music- Revolutionary Pop. Usher continues to impress us with his music throughout his successful career, but what are people saying about his new album? The 14 songs are all meant to represent a journey that Usher embarked on to find himself. These include all of his trials and tribulations regarding his stressful love-life.

Usher still manages to add upbeat tunes that we can jam to on any occasion. Fortunately, many people are elated about this new style that Usher has created and implemented into his music.

According to MTV, “the sound has fused seamlessly with R&B, making Looking 4 Myself, at its best, a truly next-level soul album. One that has warm, organic feel of R&B and deep pop hooks, but also the pulsating low-end and shimmering keyboard flourishes of EDM.”

Many fans are very pleased with the album, as it caters to a broader audience, and introduces a new genre into Hip Hop.

Many music lovers- and more importantly, Usher lovers- are excited that the album gives more of an insight into Usher’s personal life, allowing fans  to understand him as a person-not just as a superstar and music artist.

Many tracks include talented artists such as Luke Steele, along with an impressive team of producers like Rico Love, will.i.am, and Swedish House Mafia.

If haven’t listened to this album yet, you are missing out on some incredible tracks. Do you think Usher’s seventh studio album will go platinum?
