Dresses from BHLDN, Urban's Bridal Line

Come February 14th, Urban Outfitters will have a new brand under their belt, and it’s probably not what you’d expect.  Bhldn is the companies new bridal line.

Yes, you read that correctly: bridal line.

The line has a unique, antique/vintage vibe, and the dresses aren’t made for any girl seeking a big fairy tale wedding ensemble.

The line’s launch will include wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, accessories, lingerie, shoes, and decorations, including place cards and cake pedestals being introduced in May.  Urban Outfitters plans to eventually make Bhldn a full service site where brides can find photography services, caterers, florists, and stylists.

Bridal gowns will range from $1000 to $4000 and event dresses will be anywhere from $200 to $600. Accessories will include vintage inspired headpieces and veils . Shoes will come in saffron, pale pink, red, and bright green in peep-toe and ankle-strap styles decorated with butterflies and feathers.

Urban Outfitters isn’t looking to have BHLDN stores pop up all over the place like its other brands. There will be three stores opening in 2012 and eventually only about 50 in the US.
