Ella Moss Arabella Vest (Left), BB Dakota Garrett Faux Fur Vest (Right)

An easy and functional way to pile on the luxe this season is by throwing on a glitzy fur vest over any usual ensemble.  Adding a fun layer of warmth, these vests bring an instant sense of elegance to an otherwise simple look.

Rag & Bone's take on the fur vest.

Available in many varieties and styles, fur vests in neutral colors are the best to experiment with when trying out this new trend.  Of course, opt for faux fur rather than real as to not break the bank!  For a more streamlined look, opt for a slim fur vest with minimal detailing.  The Ella Moss Arabella Vest is a viable option, featuring faux fur detailing in a rich taupe color.

If you’re looking to go bold and dazzle a crowd, a more daring fur vest is exactly what you’ll need!  Styles with a cap sleeve or even a hood are go-to options for colder weather or evening events.  The Rag & Bone Kola Shearling Vest (left) is fit for the most frigid weather, all while keeping the fashionista stylish and snug!

Although high fashion designers offer a wide selection of fur numbers in their F/W 2011 lines, the runway isn’t the only way you can emulate this trend.  Check out retailers like Forever 21, GAP and H&M for affordable versions of the most coveted vest of the season.
