As a shopaholic, I tend to spend a lot of time shopping online for fabulous fashions. However, international online shopping usually makes me a little nervous. Now, a London-based retailer is setting up shop in popular United States department store and it has fashion lovers across the country rejoicing.

H&M isn’t the only international retailer American fashionistas are obsessed with these days; if you’re an avid online shopper like me you might have come across a retailer by the name of Topshop. With over 2 million Facebook fans across the globe, the retailer is more than just a little popular. Now, TopShop and its male counterpart Topman are coming to Nordstrom stores this fall. The recently announced partnership will take begin the week of September 10th, just in time for back to school shopping.

The retailer will only be represented in 14 Nordstrom stores across the country, including 1 in Nordstrom’s headquarter state of Washington. If you don’t happen to live in one of the 11 lucky states, you can still purchase TopShop gear online from the US site or from Nordstrom’s online shop.

So what’s all the buzz about? TopShop has become a mainstay in the fashion blog scene and to date, the retailer only has 3 locations, with a fourth set to open this coming Spring. If you’re looking to be in trend for any season, Topshop is the place to look. Like H&M, the store carries the trendiest in international style. Although, their clothing is a little harsher on the wallet.

In the last few years online shopping has really been picking up steam, especially in the realm of fashion merchandise. The trend seemed to be heading towards the extinction of brick and mortar stores. But with the news of TopShop and swedish retailer H&M continuing to expand in the United States the trend seems to be reversing. Do you prefer shopping online or will you always opt for the in-store experience? Are you looking forward to Topshop coming to a store near you?
