Can’t seem to get into the holiday spirit? No worries, I’m here to help! So sit back, relax, light up the fireplace and snuggle up with some eggnog because I’m going to count down the top five holiday songs that will get you right into the spirit!

#5 “All I Want for Christmas is You” by Mariah Carey

So I know that almost everyone listens to this jingle throughout the holidays, but it’s just not Christmas until you listen to this song! The uptempo bells and Mariah Carey’s amazing vocals will catch you immediately and it’ll make you feel like dancing. So whip out your old CD player and your Mariah Carey, Merry Christmas album (you know you still own it, don’t lie) and jam out to this cheery song.

#4 “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” by Judy Garland

Feeling a little down? “Your troubles will be miles away” according to Judy Garland on her version of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”. This song will bring you joy and peace just by listening to Garland’s smooth vocals over the beautiful string¬†quartet. It is an oldie, but a goodie, and I’m sure whoever listens to this tune will fall in love.

#3 “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams

It really is the most wonderful time of the year, so we should be enjoying it! The holidays only come around once a year, so we need to embrace it, especially with Andy Williams “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”. The song will uplift your spirit and even though I’m sure you’ve heard it millions of times over the holidays, listening to it once again will make you feel warm and fuzzy and it’ll get you straight into the holiday spirit!

#2 “Baby It’s Cold Outside” by¬†Cee Lo Green ft. Christina Aguilera

What’s better than Margaret Whiting and Johnny Mercer’s “Baby It’s Cold Outside” holiday song? Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera recreating its magic of course! The two stars created this magical duet for Cee Lo’s Christmas album, Magic Moment. Oh it was magic alright! They covered the classic song “Baby It’s Cold Outside” and I can honestly day they definitely did an amazing job recreating a classic. The song is soulful, jazzy, and makes you want to bring on the holiday cheer.

#1 “Mistletoe” by Justin Bieber

To all of you Bieber fans out there, I’m sure you’re excited to see this song at #1. Justin Bieber sings a sweet tune to his crush and makes it clear that he will be“under the mistletoe” waiting for his dream girl. The song is cheery, sweet, and makes you want to have your own little holiday sweetheart. So get yourself into the holiday spirit and find someone to go “under the mistletoe” with this year!

I hope these songs will get you right into the spirit of the holidays and you can enjoy this time of the year with your loved ones. So don’t be a Grinch and pop on these tunes to get you excited about over-eating and getting lots of gifts! That’s what the holidays are for, aren’t they?!? Just kidding!

Happy Holidays!
