Toccara Jones

Toccara Jones, of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 fame, has landed a reality gig of her own. As we previously reported, the plus size model will star in The Ultimate Merger, a dating show about Jones trying to find Mr. Right, premiering this Thursday.

The 14 contestants were personally selected by Donald Trump, who is also producing the show. The Ultimate Merger’s first star after all was the infamous Omarosa. Jones is planning to put her would be beaus through a series of no doubt humiliating and hilarious trials.

Since her top model days Jones has kept busy, landing a modeling contract with Wilhelmina, starring in Celebrity Fit Club, and gracing the pages of Italian Vogue. But with all her success Ms. Jones apparently hasn’t found that someone special to make it all worthwhile.

If that’s actually her aim the last place she should look is a reality TV show created by Donald Trump. But whether or not The Ultimate Merger is fact or fiction, when speaking about her show Jones’ enthusiasm is apparent:

Being on The Ultimate Merger has been the most amazing experience, both professionally and personally. I spend so much time on the road and focused on my career, it’s not been easy to meet the man of my dreams and develop a real relationship. It’s been incredibly hard work, but to have this time to focus on nothing else – and do it as part of my career – has been a fantastic opportunity. I am very excited for the…audience to be able to watch how the series unfolds and see who from among this incredible group of men I end up falling in love with.

Has anyone ever fallen in love on national television before? I think not. But The Ultimate Merger is bound to be entertaining. Especially because Brian McKnight is going to guest star.
