This week the “Tiny Tonight” show premiered on VH1 featuring the host Tameka “Tiny” Harris. Harris had been working on the show for quite a while. We saw a sneak preview of it on the “T.I. & Tiny Show: Family Hustle.” The business-savvy Harris has a great show whose cast includes Claudia Jordan, Tamar Braxton, rapper Trina, and Shekinah Jo.

In the first episode of  the “Tiny Show,” the ladies did a review of several 2012 reality shows.  The show works because Harris, Braxton, and Jo are all successful reality TV stars. It’s interesting to hear about their experiences with their own television shows. I think that it’s interesting to see how reality TV actors and actresses view each other. The ladies did not hold back when they were giving their opinions.  For example, Tiny expressed love for “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”  reality star Honey Boo Boo because she said that she was confident.

Both Tamar and Tiny’s best-friend and hairstylist, Shekinah are hilarious. Neither of them are afraid to say what is on their mind, and their mannerisms will have you rolling on the floor, especially Shekinah. On a past episode of the “T.I. & Tiny” show, Tiny sent Shekinah to an etiquette coach.

It was clear on “Tiny Tonight” that Jo had learned quite a lot, because she had a more polished yet, funny tone.  I think she will get her own show. Both Trina and Jordon have much more laid back dispositions in relation to the other cast members.  But, I think that it works with the dynamics of the group.

In all, I think that the “Tiny Tonight” show is worth watching. Based on the first episode, it does not appear to have a serious tone like “The View.” Because the cast is comprised of reality TV stars, it is pure comic relief.  I will be tuning in next week to see what the ladies will be up t0. Will you be watching?
