Remember last month when we shared that MTV is definitely stepping up their game? Well, MTV now has released an official trailer for the Jersey Shore spinoff. Premiering next Thursday, March 29 The Pauly D Project will be hitting MTV. The preview shows the Italian DJ based out of Rhode Island and his life outside of the shore house. It starts with Pauly living at home (with his father) and then hitting the road to Las Vegas.
Paul DelVecchio is known to us by the famous blow-out, hilarious “cabs are here” yelling, and an amazing Italian-esque DJ set up. Recently, Pauly signed with G-Unit Records & G-Note Records, famous for being 50 Cent‘s label. The Project will take the DJ and his crew through his experiences, even showing the 31-year-old on Britney Spears‘ Femme Fatale tour that he opened for.
His crew includes DJing buddy and mentor-turned manager, Michael “Biggie” Morgan; security for the star, or as Pauly puts it “he’s my security, he’s my body, he’s my dude,” Gerard “Jerry” Gialaella; club manager, best friend (sorry Vin) and “wingman”, Ryan Labbe; and executive of Hyde Bellagio, Jason Craig, who introduced the crew to the Vegas scene– which we get to see a lot of this season.
In case you weren’t ready for the fist pumping to be over last Thursday, you still have the reunion this week, and The Pauly D Project starting on the 29th on MTV at 10 PM. It won’t be lacking the drama of the Shore either, we see the boys arguing, hooking up with girls (and we actually meet Pauly’s old girlfriend), and of course performing.
Check out the trailer and let us know what you think!
