May the odds be ever in your favor! Monday night, just outside the Nokia Theater, the world watched as one of the year’s most anticipated movies premiered and boy was there excitement! The premiere brought out a black carpet filled with the films’ stars and excited fans, similar to a premiere for a Twilight movie.

Fan’s signs read, “Jennifer, can I please have a hug?” and “Josh, you make my heart go Peeta-Patter.” Actor Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale in the film, described it saying, “The fans around this thing are so passionate. I’ve just been trying to keep my head on, realize what’s happening right now… It’s a little crazy. It’s extremely crazy actually.”

Suzanne Collins’ popular book series has been made into a movie, which means “you’ve made it” in the book world. The Hunger Games series is one that brings the reader into a whole new and captivating world. The story is set in the future where a boy and a girl from each of the twelve districts of the country are set to play for their lives in the Hunger Games put on by the Capitol. Katniss and Peeta are the two from District Twelve to play in the games and we follow their story as to how they strive to survive.

“Right now I’m terrified out of my mind. I feel like a shaking Chihuahua at the door…I’m so out of my mind stressed and excited that I don’t know how I feel,” the young starlet Jennifer Lawrence said in an interview. However, she seems to be handling all the pressure just fine and looking fabulous I might add.

The star of the film, Jennifer Lawrence, definitely wowed everyone by wearing a gold Prabal Gurung dress, including cut-outs that showed off her amazing figure. The starlet finished her look with Jimmy Choo heels and Jacob & Co. black diamond studs, creating a perfect outfit for the big premiere.

Her co-star Elizabeth Banks rocked a stand out orange dress by Atelier Versace, Jimmy Choo heels and Judith Leiber clutch. Other stars including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Shailene Woodley and Jack Quaid, arrived to show their support for the movie premiere as well, making it a truly star studded event.

Some of the midnight showings are already sold out for The Hunger Games, which hits theaters March 23.
