It was only yesterday (the 90s) when The Supermodel Era was in prominence and supermodels Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington were heavily demanded. During the late 20th century, they dominated the fashion magazines and are known as the original supermodels. Now, years later, they are reuniting for a music video by Duran Duran which is set to film in South Carolina next week.
The models previously starred in George Michael ’s iconic video, “Freedom,” which became the big supermodel moment. Kate Moss missed out on starring in the video but stated that it would have been amazing if she did (according to Telegraph).
Kate Moss, along with the other models, recently walked for Naomi Campbell’s Fashion for relief show in Cannes. Duran Duran was recently honored as one of the style icons by the Mayor of Milan, so the video pairing makes sense.
Here is the song ‘Freedom’ by George Michael whilst we wait for the new music video:Tags: Christy Turlington, cindy crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Duran Duran, freedom, george michael, Kate Moss, Linda Evangelista, naomi campbell, supermodel
