While I’m not a huge fan of cover bands, every once in a while, I come across a musician who has recreated a well-known song in the best way possible. At times, I even prefer their cover version to the original. Because I love coming across these hidden gems, I’m constantly scouring YouTube to find new artists. Here are some of the best musicians on YouTube.

Walk Off the Earth

I am obsessed with these guys! They’ve been gaining a lot more popularity since their cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” and their performance on The Ellen Show. Great things are definitely in store for them.

Boyce Avenue

You are seriously missing out is you haven’t heard of these guys! With the voice of an angel, the lead singer can slow down any song and make you want to listen forever.

Ebony Day

She has a unique voice that sets her apart from other female vocalists. Many times, I listen to her covers rather than the original songs.

Julia Nunes

This ukelele-playing goddess has quite the unique voice and quirky personality. She definitely doesn’t take herself too seriously, and her deeper vocals add to her individual style. Her original songs are also worth checking out!

Tyler Ward

Tyler is amazing! I listen to his original songs all the time, but his covers are just as good.

I also suggest checking out Krista Nicole, Julia Sheer and Alexa Goddard if you’re interested in more great cover artists on YouTube!
