Calling all Target enthusiasts! The super store has just announced another designer collaboration- and this one is a dozy. Partnering with Neiman Marcus, Target is bringing together 24 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) designers to create 50 pieces just in time for the holiday season. If your inner fashionista isn’t jumping up and down yet, keep reading to discover some of the collaborations.
The first look at some of the pieces is set to come out in October while the collection launches on December 1, 2012. Gregg Steinhafel, chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Target said,
“This collaboration is unlike anything Target has done before. Target and Neiman Marcus…[have] set the stage for a redefining moment in retail.”
Target is known for their massive collaborations with coveted designers. Who could forget the Missoni pair up that shut down their site? Joining together the high-end designers of Neiman Marcus and the mass production skills of Target, the two companies donated one million dollars to CFDA.
