Bright colors are a major trend for spring

In the past, designers have seemed to shy away from color. But this spring, color is back with full force on literally every major runway.  And this is not just candy pinks and pastel purples — it’s bold, saturated hues that make you stop and stare in a really good way.

Some good ways to incorporate these bright hues into your everyday wardrobe are through layering two bright pieces together, like a top and a jacket, or a skirt and a shirt. Bold dresses are also a great way to use colors, and you can add even more colored accessories, like bright shoes and jewelry.

Not one for the Rainbow Bright look? Not to worry, because basic black works well with bright colors!  A loud shirt would look so chic with a black pencil skirt, and a bold hued dress can be toned down with a black sweater or jacket. Other ideas to try if you don’t want to go all-out on color include incorporating just a pop of bright in a necklace or a really fun skirt, keeping it simple everywhere else.

No matter how you wear them, these fun colors are sure to brighten up your day!
