45-year-old country singer Shania Twain.

After seven years of hiatus and a broken heart, Shania Twain will perform on December 1, 2012 as the first country singer to headline at the Colosseum arena in Caesar’s Palace. After thinking long and hard, Twain has decided she will live in Las Vegas for two years while performing 60 shows per year at the same venue.

Twain’s musical trouble began with her divorce from her husband in 2010 after she found out about his affair with one of her friends. In May, she told Oprah Winfrey:

“I figured mentally that I would never sing again. My fears and anxieties throughout my whole life have been slowly squeezing my voice.”

However she told CNN that she has learned how to commit herself and “put that into healing rather than fear and anxiety.”  Twain will further reveal her career decision in the OWN channel series “Why Not?” on Sunday. Also, look out for her single “Today (is Your Day),” expected to release on June 12.

Who can’t wait for her comeback? Although her perfomance is set in 2012, better buy those tickets soon. I bet it’ll be a sold-out show.
