M-Bone

Many talented artists do not ever receive the opportunity to live out their dreams. Fighting for the chance to have at least one break with one single, 90% of artists barely make it. Catching the luck that others missed, Cali Swag District recently broke through the music industry with their hit single “Teach Me How To Dougie.” But at the brink of gaining stardom, while preparing to release their second album, last weekend they lost one of their members that just can’t be replaced.

Montae “M-Bone” Talbert was murdered late Sunday night in a drive-by shooting in his hometown of Inglewood, CA. Sitting in his car after leaving a liquor store, Talbert was shot in the head and rushed to the hospital but unfortunately did not make it. Detectives are saying that a car drove up next to him and just started firing shots. They are calling it a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Smoove, the lead vocalist of Cali Swag District, tweeted “Ma life changed drastically in the blink of an eye rip mbone.” Only 22, Talbert had his life taken away before he got the chance to share all of his talent with the world.
