Future Superstar Lana Del Rey

Every year Britain’s Red Pages – an online directory for agents and publicists – predicts the top 100 players in film, TV, music, fashion, literature, media, sports and politics. Who knew in 2010 that Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Helmsworth would make such a buzz in 2011? Oh that’s right, Red Pages did.

Phoebe English

Next year, Red Pages predicted the rising stars to be, among many others, actors China Anne McClain, Jake T. Austin, Josh Hutcherson and Leah Lewis, musicians The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, Frank Ocean and K.Flay, athletes Jordyn Wieber and Andrew Luck, models Charlotte Free and Jessica Clarke, bloggers Gaby Dunn and Emily Schuman, and author Liza Klaussmann.

The fashion world got some huge predictions as well. Red Pages cited Phoebe English as one of the top fashion designers to watch in 2012. Other designers predicted to have a huge year are American menswear designer Marlon Gobel and creative director for NUMBER Luis M. Fernandez.

Vogue’s 2011 Graduate to Watch Alicia Duncan Smith, London-based Taiwanese creator Shao Yen Chen and Danish creator Trine Lindegaard were also listed as people expected to make a huge impact over the next year.

Make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for these stars on the rise, and check out the rest of the list for the United States and the UK.
