Pusha-T

It seems as though it often takes an artist some time to find a place within the Hip-Hop community. Taking time to try to establish themselves, many artists jump from place to place and lose valuable time creating music. Unlike those rappers, Pusha-T did quite the opposite.

Putting aside the ups and downs of record deals and the temporary separation of The Clipse, Pusha-T has established himself as a rapper in the Hip-Hop industry. And a damn good one at that. Now with the great success from his latest mixtape, “Fear of God,” Pusha has been hitting us left to right with videos for his hit singles. Check out “Open Your Eyes” below:

Athough Pusha has received mixed reviews on his videos, all in all, he has become one of the hottest rappers in the game. His lyrics are brutally honest, yet refreshing. He lays out his life story for everyone to hear and isn’t set back by the judgment. His music isn’t about shopping sprees and everyday flashiness and doesn’t sugarcoat anything. His music is about real life situations and the understanding of those moments in life.

So whether his videos are too plain or greatly metaphorical, we are all enjoying watching him establish his place in the Hip-Hop community.

Look out for Pusha-T’s EP version of his mixtape, “Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray” set to release in June.
