When we think of lace the first thing that comes to mind is lovely and ladylike. It is your go to piece in the summer or spring when you want to make an outfit look effortless.

Lace first made its comeback in late 2011 debuting a softer look for the warmer seasons and we’re so glad it stuck around! But just because autumn is approaching doesn’t mean you should part ways with lace. With the changing of the seasons comes an opportunity change your style and take more fashion forward risks. Go from sweet to fierce in these lace statement pieces.

The Lace Bootie

Fall is the time to break out the booties. This is a more subtle approach to the lace look. Wear these with a leather skirt and a red lip to accomplish a sexier style. These cute peep toe booties are  available at  Neiman Marcus .

Edgy Lace Jacket

Mudd Lace Moto Jacket
Try something new and trade in your leather jacket this fall. On cooler days when its difficult to find something stylish that still keeps you warm, throw on a lace blazer or jacket with a comfortable pair of jeans. You wont have to try too hard to look edgy and chic. You can pick up this jacket at  kohls.

 Punk Lace Leggings

You cant go wrong with a pair of comfortable leggings or tights. Take advantage of the flexibility and pair these with a long sleeve short black dress. To punk up the lace, complete this outfit with a pair of knee high boots. You can find these cute and affordable leggings at forever21.
