Emma Stone and Keira Knightley

Button-front skirts in all styles and lengths have recently been spotted all over Hollywood.

This trend has everyone jumping on the bandwagon, literally! Reminiscent of  Little House on the Prairie this cool and comfortable look can be created with a   simple tee or tank  and can also be paired with sandals or wedges. Strappy heels can also make for a hot addition to the subtle look.

But beware! This look can quickly go from fab to drab if not paired right. For instance, you wouldn’t want to wear a peasant top with the already long and maiden-like skirt, it can make your outfit look matronly. Keep your top, shoes and accessories light , easy and even edgy.

Denim Front-Button Skirt

For example, you can try pairing a denim button-front skirt, with a simple white deep v-neck and brown sandals.

The front button skirt is great because it’s a transitional piece. It can take you from the summer season and into the fall. With the cooler season just around the corner, riding boots would go perfect with the long skirt.

Floral Button-Front Skirt

If you’re looking to get in on the button front trend this summer, try this floral front button  skirt at Urban Outfitters and try putting together with a simple top and black sandals or wedges.

So let us know, is this look stylish or a style miss?
