Singers P!nk and Selena Gomez Feud Over Pink Ponies

When Selena Gomez visited sunny Malibu, California to shoot her new video “Love You Like a Love Song,” PETA alarms went off when the singer walked on set with horses painted the color pink.

According to Celebuzz,”There are no safe ways to paint a live horse or any animal; they can have painful allergic reactions to chemicals and there’s no way to know how an individual animal will react,” said a rep from PETA.

Pink, a proud supporter of PETA, has never been afraid of a little confrontation. She has even written letters to royalty like Prince William and Queen Elizabeth about their actions against animals.

Pink spoke out via Twitter about the situation. “If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame … Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.”

The rock-star continued to tweet, stating “Whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’S, i won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty. i’ve taken responsibility in the past,so should she.”

Gomez’ camp insisted that no animals were harmed in the filming of the video, stating they used a vegetable based non-toxic powder paint that could easily be removed with the application of water.
