I have had times when I just wanted to get out of bed and go straight away to work or class. Wouldn’t it be the best to just lounge about in your comfortable pajamas all day? Well, now you can. Bedtime wear has now turned into sexy daytime fashion!

We have seen them on celebrities and on the streets, but recently, famous fashion designers have converted the pajama trend from drab to fab. The luxe loving designer Marc Jacobs, who usually wears his sophisticated kilts or sheers, switched to comfortable PJs for the final walks of his shows.  But before you get all confused, he wasn’t wearing those flannel pjs that you put on during winter, but a classy Commes Des Garcons’ one! Marc Jacobs popularized the trend for the Marc Jacobs finale by wearing fancier silk versions by Prada!

While this is not a trend one ventures into easily, (obviously, you don’t want to look shabby) it can actually be chic for the summer, if paired in the right manner.  Look back at Audrey Tatou’s look in Coco Avant Chanel for some inspiration!

You can follow this trend in a classy, sophisticated manner by opting for the cute pajama suits, whether with pants or shorts.  This can work really well for formal occasions or even for work.

If pajama suits seem too daunting, you can wear them as separates. Either use the pajama style silk shirts with bodycon skirts or with ripped denim shorts; or pair your comfy pajama pants with a crisp shirt or a fitted tee for a casual day look. Simple prints can work great for pajama pants separates. Just don’t forget to switch your bunny slippers for some killer heels.

So, are you still hesitant to wear this trend outside of bedroom or do you agree with me that it’s seductive, sensual and far too stylish to keep in bedroom?
