There was nothing but G’s present on the Oscars Red Carpet last night…and I’m not just talking about the hundreds of g’s worth of jewels. I’m talking Glitz, Glam, Gowns, and…of course…Good dermatologists!

I believe it’s impossible for a hot Hollywood man in a tux (or any man in a tux, for that matter) to look anything less than drool-worthy, so there’s really no point in me making a Best Dressed Men list. How could I possibly choose?! Instead, I’m making it all about the ladies! That’s why we all watch the Oscars, anyway, right? Why we all endure the unnecessary 12-hour Red Carpet countdown on E! and all the awkward interviews? (Celebs are hilarious when they don’t have a script in front of them!) It’s all about the night’s biggest stars…the gorgeous gals in gowns!

Catherine Zeta Jones, also known as The Ageless Woman, chose a show-stopping golden gown by Couture God, Zuhair Murad. It didn’t show off her body at all, which was a relief – the woman is so out of shape! C’mon, Catherine! Stop making us all feel bad about sitting at home and watching the show in our sweats with our tub of extra-butter popcorn!

Oscar nominee, the beautiful Jessica Chastain, shined in an Armani Privé couture dress that can only be described as “old Hollywood glamour at its best.”

Nicole Kidman, who wore my fave fave favorite gown of the night, a L’Wren Scott masterpiece, once again didn’t surprise us with her flawless taste in gowns. She’s a Red-Carpet-Best-Dressed-Hall-of-Famer at this point. And then there’s Miss Octavia Spencer, loyal to her man, Tadashi Shoji, and who looked absolutely dream-like.

Zoe Saldana, who I love because she always takes fashion risks on the Red Carpet, looked every bit a fashionista’s dream in Alexis Mabille Couture. I loved the embellished bodice, and the belt was unexpected but perfect with the gown!

Charlize Theron, who made me compulsively grab my father’s electric hair razor the minute she stepped on the Red Carpet (I want to look that good in a pixie cut, too!), looked nothing short of stunning in Dior Haute Couture. The peplum section was beautifully embellished and the gown fit Charlize like a glove! It was simple, but in the most perfect way.

An Oscar winner of the evening, Anne Hathaway, chose a blush-toned Prada gown, and though I am not of fan of the darting on the nips (why would anyone want to showcase their nipples?), I do love the color and simplicity of the gown. Anne looked elegant and timeless, and I loved her necklace!

Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence (YAY! YAY! YAY!), who also sported a gorgeous necklace that danced down her back, wore a couture gown by her latest employer, Dior. Though I wished Jen chose something with some color, you can’t deny how positively regal she looked! Aww, our little Jennifer is all growed-up! An Oscar-winning actress fo’ sho’!

Is there anyone in the world who doesn’t adore Kerry Washington? She may be the most adorable woman in Hollywood, and this red Miu Miu gown suited her personality perfectly! It’s fun and playful, but also super chic. The embellished bodice glistened, further enhancing the actress’ natural glow. I love a bit of sparkle on the Red Carpet!

Olivia Munn stole the show in Marchesa, a design house synonymous with the Oscars Red Carpet. Have you ever seen a Marchesa design that wasn’t breathtaking? Red and gold are a stunning color combination, and Ms. Munn looks ‘Total Movie Star’ in this…even though she’s better known as a TV actress! Well done, Ms. Munn!

Stacy Keibler, who proves she can outshine that famous gorgeous man always by her side (Mr. George Clooney), looks drop-dead WOWZA in Naeem Khan. I love the black belt as an accent!

Naomi Watts looked like a gazillion watts of gorgeous in my second favorite look of the night, a glittering, custom-made Armani Privé gown. Naomi is a quiet actress (she’s very shy in interviews) whose flawless couture choices just scream “Hollywood movie star” on the Red Carpet. She’s a classy chick, that one.

And then there’s our beloved Sandy Bullock wearing a design created by the King of Couture, Mr. Elie Saab. You just can’t go wrong when you go Elie Saab!

All of these gals struck gold last night, whether they were nominees, presenters, or past winners. And though only two of these lovely ladies walked away with an Oscar that evening, I don’t pity the losers. Sure, they may go home and cry into their couture, but you have to admit…a priceless couture gown is a pretty damn fabulous tissue.

Who got your vote for Best Dressed last night?
