Odd Future's "Loiter Squad"

Adult Swim on Cartoon Network has recently announced that they’ve picked up a television show titled “Loiter Squad” that will feature Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All. This show is said to be a mixture between the random humor of “Jackass” and comedic stylings of “The Chappelle Show.” With the comparisons to these two major television shows I think the bar is being set rather high and possibly to a level that is impossible to achieve.

This 15-minute program is set to premiere next year and is said to feature man-on-the-street segments, pranks, and sketches, similar to the shows that it has been related to.

This show is not only connected in matters of style with the television show “Jackass” but it is also being produced by Dickhouse Entertainment. Dickhouse Entertainment is the production company founded by Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine, and Spike Jones, director of “Otis,” a a video by Kanye West and Jay-Z.

Odd Future’s controversial persona and Tyler the Creator’s recent win at the VMAs has possibly created the buzz that Adult Swim needs to announce the upcoming release. The shocking acceptance speech given by Tyler the Creator has perhaps created enough attention for both fans and people who are not so fond of the group to take notice and now anticipate the impending television show.

Whether you like the group or not I am sure in the least “Loiter Squad” will be nothing if not entertaining. “Loiter Squad” is coming to a television near you in 2012, prepare yourself.
