Rock band O.A.R. is preparing for their seventh album, “King” which hits stores August 2. The band has recently come off an eleven-month national tour where they introduced new singles like “Over and Over” and “Light Switch Sky.” The album’s first hit “Heaven,” will be released June 7.

O.A.R., who recently signed with Wind-Up Records, says the new album speaks of their past journeys and the adventures they plan to embark on in their future. The OAR website also follows the band as they travel throughout their respective cities finding inspirations for their writing.

“I’ve never been more impressed with Marc’s vocal delivery,” said group member Benj, speaking of his experience in Marc’s hometown.

The band will continue to work on the completion of the album, while beginning a U.S. tour June 10 at The Sandbar, Red Rock Resort Spa and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Check out O.A.R.’s website for more information on tour dates.
