Although many of you may remember Nikki Reed as the “it” girl Evie Zamora, in the movie Thirteen, I assure you that was just a small glimpse of the different personalities she is able to portray through acting. Rather than getting into trouble, Reed has spent the last few years getting into the design industry. The Twilight actress has recently revealed her latest jewelry collection for 7 For All Mankind and the inspiration behind it: a little thing called love.

Reed is known to wear her heart on her sleeve and her jewelry around her neck. Her newest collection was created thanks to her muse, 28-year-old Paul McDonald. McDonald, a musician, husband, and former American Idol contestant won the heart and commitment of Reed through love notes that are now engraved on the backs of some of the pieces in the 7 For All Mankind collection.

Reed channels Evie Zamora’s bad-girl vibe into her jewelry aesthetic, mixing and matching pieces that don’t necessarily go together for an edgier look. Each individual piece of jewelry has a story behind it, which is a beautiful and effective way to create a buzz. Reed has acquired a huge fan-base through her years of acting, and as if her cover-girl status wasn’t enough, she has now given us all the opportunity to wear a part of her with us everyday.

This collection is sure to take off immensely upon completion – and it is reassuring to know that if my heart can’t take the anticipation I will soon be able to have a shiny, well-structured version of Reed’s.
