Incubus fans everywhere have been anxiously awaiting the release of the new Incubus album, “If Not Now, When?” which is set to launch this coming July. The band thought they would give their loyal fans a little teaser by releasing the new single, “Adolescents” a few months prior to the release of the full album!

As to be expected, the single does not disappoint, and stays true to the Incubus style we have all come to love over the years. The band commented on their 6th album, saying, “This record is nothing like its predecessor, but still maintains the quintessential Incubus vibe.” They have always been known for pushing the envelope on their own style.

The guitar riffs on the new single are, as always, rather impressive and the lyrics are pretty great. Some might be disappointed with the hint of autotune on Brandon Boyd’s naturally fantastic vocal. I don’t think he needs it. It’s not too overpowering though, but I hope he abandons the trick for the rest of the album.

You can check out the new single here. So, what do you think?
