Joseph Altuzarra. Pamela Love, Shane Gabier, and Christopher Peters

The highly anticipated second installment of J. Crew’s collaboration with the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Funds award has finally made itself visible with the help of CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award runner up, Pamela Love. The New York native has done an amazing job of taking advantage of all the opportunities the award has given her. Originally a designer of jewelry, she has now expanded her resume to designer of fashion, debuting her first clothing designs in a capsule collection with the American retailer.

The collection, which was made available for purchase last Friday, features three classic pieces. The first is a tan belt decorated with gold hardware; the second, a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans; and the last, a casual denim jacket accentuated with metal pendants and a plaid lining under the collar.

Love’s collection will stand alongside Joseph Altuzarra’s seven piece collection, which premiered last month. Altuzarra, the winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Funds award, was inspired by preppy french style. The collection features dresses and blouses in sharp stripes and plaid.

These capsules are J. Crew’s way of honoring the winner and two runner-ups of such a prestigious award. Finishing out the trilogy is Shane Gabier and Christopher Peters’ Creatures of the Wind,  which will debut next month.
