Models strut the runway in fashion-forward nauticals

Summer is notorious for all things nautical. From dazzling dresses to trendy handbags, this print has achieved classic status. Here are my suggestions on how to pull off your best sailor look without drifting off to sea.

Maxi Dress: This item encompasses two of my favorite things: nautical and one of the season’s hottest trends, the maxi dress. A nautical-inspired maxi is ideal as a summer day dress, and can even serve as a cover-up when poolside. Leather sandals and a sun-shielding fedora update a timeless print, keeping this look on-trend.

Printed T-shirt: An anchor-print tee evokes the beachy essence of calm, cool, and collective. Pair with your favorite boyfriend jeans and boat shoes for model “on-deck” apparel.

Skirt: A chambray skirt fitted with bows and buttons is as versatile as it is chic. Worn with a white blouse, classic tee, or even a striped tank, a nautical-inspired skirt is a wise option whether on land or at sea.

Swimwear: Be prepared to dive into ocean waters in a stylish nautical-themed swimsuit! Whether a festive bikini, or a retro-inspired swim dress, nautical swimwear is sure to make a splash!
