Lauryn Hill and Nas

I have been to a few horrible concerts in my time. From bad sound systems to late artists, I have just about seen it all. But the one concert that I will always have good memories about is the Rock the Bells Festival. From great artists like GZA, Common, Slaughterhouse, Damien Marley to the meet and greets with some of the performers, every year the Rock the Bells tour is even better than the last.

The Rock the Bells Festival, put together by Guerilla Union, has been taking place since 2004. This year, Guerilla Union in association with Boost Mobile, has put together yet another amazing festival and it will be making stops in New York, California & Boston. It has been announced that Nas along with Lauryn Hill will headline the festival and fans can’t wait to buy tickets.

Nas is just as excited as the fans are for the show, “For years, people have been asking me to do Illmatic in so many ways, from stage plays to movies to books, but the time wasn’t right. Where music is going now, the time is right,” Nas stated. “This will be my biggest production, and it only makes sense to do it on the best rap tour, which also happens to be a brand I’ve built and am a partner in. Can’t wait to kill it with my comrades AZ, Premo and Pete Rock!”

Along with two of the most influential artists in Hip-Hop, the line-up includes Ghostface Killa, Raekwon, Childish Gambino, Freddie Gibbs, Evidence and many more. Rock the Bells is due to be one of the hottest, greatest festivals in Hip-Hop. Are you ready for it?!
