A giagantic star in his own right without the help of his prior (albeit amazing) band, The Smiths, Morrissey seems to always be on tour. Currently going around Europe to promote The Very Best of Morrissey, Morrissey released three new songs from his upcoming LP on June 14th with BBC Radio 2.

It was a month ago that Morrissey announced both his hate for the ‘Royal Dreading’ and the completion of his newest and ninth solo venture, which has no attached title or record label yet. In a statement delivered April 30 and posted to True To You, Morrissey wrote:

“The follow-up to Years of Refusal is ready and fluttering wildly against the bars. There is still no record label and the years shuffle like cards. My talents do not lie in DIY.”

Now with his three new songs premiered, we can be sure to look forward to their studio versions soon, along with the announcement of a label for it’s physical release. You can listen to the BBC Radio 2 streams of all the songs below.

Action is My Middle Name

The Kid’s a Looker

People Are the Same Everywhere

What do you think of Morrissey’s newest efforts?
