Melanie Fiona

Melanie Fiona recently released her new single, “Change The Record,” featuring popular rap artist B.o.B.  This song is a ladies anthem encouraging women to do better in there relationship. Written by Andrea Martin, the song seems a little different from Fiona’s typical style. It was sort of awkward to listen to the song until B.o.B. comes in. He does a great job!

Fiona is preparing to release her sophomore album, The MF Life, March 27th. She also release another single from the album, “4 a.m.” I love this song! It is consistent with the artist’s original style. She sings from her soul and gets her audience to feel her every word. If you like her from her first album this song is probably more your speed.

The official track list for Fiona’s upcoming album was released. Her fans learned that there will be a collection of 12 songs with features from Nas, soul singer John Legend, T-Pain, J. Cole, and southern rapper B.o.B also known as Bobby Ray. I can’t wait to see what Fiona has done with this album. She always brings heartfelt lyrics and a killer voice. The track list is as follows:

Melanie Fiona with her Grammy Awards

1. “This Time” feat. J. Cole
2. “4 AM”
3. “Break Down These Walls”
4. “I Been That Girl”
5. “Wrong Side of a Love Song”
6. “Running” feat. Nas
7. “Change the Record” feat. B.o.B
8. “Gone and Never Coming Back”
9. “Bones”
10. “Watch Me Work”
11. “Can’t Say”
12. “L.O.V.E.” feat. John Legend
13. (Bonus Track): “6 AM” feat. T-Pain

At the Grammy Award Melanie Fiona racked up two of those golden awards for best traditional R&B performance and best R&B song. Both wins were for “Fool For You” by musical genius Cee Lo Green. How could you not win a Grammy with Cee Lo fronting yor project? Oh, and I absolutely love the song!

Fiona is currently doing a few performances.

I love the sound of Melanie Fiona’s voice. I can’t wait to see her do great things. I surely can’t wait to get my hands on her album.
