“Somewhere Over the Rainbow” Lindsay Lohan might have found both her pot of gold and perhaps a silver lining after all. Just when we thought the reign of those ’90s tween superstars was coming to an end with the endless antics of Amanda Bynes LiLoh tweets hope to worrying fans.

Earlier this week, the 26-year-old starlet released this surprisingly cheerful statement via Twitter during her stay at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California:

Seems like Lohan’s definitely been watching The Wizard of Oz to paint the day with a more kaleidoscopic hue. Is it safe to say this is a sign of a major mind and body renovation?

As for her father, Michael, Papa Lohan isn’t buying it. When asked if his daughter should leave the Betty Ford clinic by reporters at TMZ.com, the estranged father responded, “Absolutely or she’ll repeat the same program three times in a row,” confident that moving her into Lukens Institute will make her well.

Sorry, Pops. I’m siding with Lindsay on this one. The girl manages to keep herself in and out of the bad side of the justice system. True. Nonetheless, she’s taking progressive steps to bettering her health.

Perhaps this is showing her efforts are much more serious. Who knows?

Even though I thought the revelation was about six years overdue, it’s better now than never, right? I love Cady Heron (Mean Girls), Rachel Wilcox (Georgia Rule) but more importantly, I love LiLoh and wish her a successful recovery no matter how long or where she gets it.

Should Lindsay stay or should she go?
