Lil' Mama

Lil’ Mama came on the scene with a bang in 2007 with her catchy and overly simplistic hit “Lip Gloss.” Tweens across the country were smackin’ their lips and poppin’ their gloss with a whole new attitude. Since then, however, Lil’ Mama hasn’t been producing the hits I thought she would, especially when there’s such a large array of beauty-product territory she hasn’t covered. Where’s “My Eye Lids Are Dazzling” or “Spray That Hairspray Guuurl”?

The America’s Best Dance Crew judge is trying to make her way back into the Hip-Hop world with her new track “On & On & On.” The one-hit wonder isn’t rapping about her lip gloss this time, but she does pay homage to Kit-Kat bars. Does the diva who crashed Jay-Z and Alicia Key’s VMA performance in 2009 have particularly strong feelings about the candy bar or is this product endorsement? Either way, I expect tweens to be flocking to the closest convenient store so they can shove their mouths with Kit-Kats like they painted their lips with gloss.
