Lady Gaga

The March issue of Vogue will definitely fly off the shelves because Lady Gaga will be on the cover for the first time.  The superstar has previously appeared on the covers of Vanity Fair, Elle, and Cosmopolitan, but this is her first for the legendary fashion magazine whose front spot is the biggest achievement for any cover girl.

On the cover, which Gaga herself leaked via Twitter, Gaga sports a short pink bob and a Haider Ackermann gown. The photographs were taken in Belgium in November by legendary photographer Mario Testino.  The shot speaks to the high fashion that Gaga loves, reinforcing her status as a fashion icon as well as a music star.

Gaga is also wearing some serious attitude, which is fitting considering this is the magazine’s Power Issue.

Gaga’s feeling the power and empowerment.  When The Lady tweeted the picture of her cover, she included: “They used to call me rabbit teeth in school, and now I’m a real live VOGUE BEAUTY QUEEN!”

Gaga’s Vogue headline reads “Born This Way,”referring to her upcoming song, which she will premiere during this Sunday’s Grammy Awards.  With a high fashion magazine cover and a highly anticipated new song about to premiere, Lady Gaga is on her game right now.
