Kris Jenner on "Bethenny"

Kim Kardashian’s divorce to famous NBA player, Kris Humphries, has been the talk of weekly news shows for longer than the marriage even lasted. (72 days, pretty lengthy by some celebrity standards). Now that the devastation and tears have subsided, mother, Kris Jenner, feels as if she can talk lightly and openly about her daughter’s split, as she is interviewed on an episode of Bethenny.

In November, 2011, Kim gave her first interview since the split. When asked about whether or not she attempted to save the marriage she gave the ambiguous answer, “’I think when you know so deep in your heart that you just to listen to your intuition and follow your heart, there’s no right or wrong thing to do,” according to the Daily Mail. She then continued on to Australia, and has been gracing every red carpet party and photo op ever since. The divorce did a lot for her celebrity status, and she even landed a guest role on Lifetime’s hit series, Drop Dead Diva. Now that it all seems to be water under the bridge, Jenner is even able to joke, “What’s a measly little 72 days?”

In the interview Jenner also comments on Kim’s relationship with the infamous Kanye West; a match made in celebrity-drama heaven. According to Us Magazine, Jenner states, “”With Kim, she falls in love really hard. She’s a hopeless romantic. And I tell all of my children, ‘Follow your heart, do what you feel and what you want. What you think is the right thing to do, but follow your heart. Be happy.’” She continued to add that she wouldn’t be surprised if Kanye and Kim made it to the altar; at least she is keeping the “K” theme.

No one knows what this celeb will be up to next, but with a potential hubby as powerful in the industry as Kanye West, if anyone is going to even attempt to keep up with this Kardashian, it should be a lawyer with a prenup.
