Kourtney Kardashian on 'One Life to Live'

As one of the stars of the E! network’s most popular reality shows, pint size reality starlet Kourtney Kardashian has made a name for herself over the past few years for, well, being herself. She’s sassy, sarcastic and a sizzling hot mama of her adorable tyke Mason. Yet, managing a baby, constant filming, dealing with a far from Mr. Perfect boyfriend, in addition to her crazy family, Kourtney is ready to add one new credential to her resume: soap star.

On Monday, March 28, the eldest Kardashian sister made her acting debut on the soap opera One Life to Live. Playing the part of a personal injury lawyer, cleverly named Kassandra Kavanaugh, who stirs the pot on the daytime drama. Although Kourtney has spent the past few years spicing things up on her reality shows, whether in New York, Los Angeles or in Miami, E!’s television princess admits that acting with a script is harder than it looks.

“I’d thought I’d have two lines,” said Kardashian, “but the script is so long … I’m not an actress.”

While Kourtney may not be switching reality for real drama in the near future, she can certainly cross actress off her list as she compared filming the soap to being a prostitute! When speaking with Jay Leno, Kardashian claimed she “felt like a prostitute,” as she “was being paid to kiss someone.”

Although Kourt’s debut drew not-so-positive reviews from critics, her mom-ager Kris Jenner stepped in to defend her daughter’s on-screen performance. “[She] was so excited to be asked to do [the soap],” said Kris to Access Hollywood. “Nobody in the family is trying to win an Emmy or anything. We’re just out there having the time of our lives.”

With Kourtney and Kim Take New York wrapping up its first season, if Kourtney begins to feel any separation anxiety from the lack of cameras or glaring spotlight, the good news is there will always be a spot for her on daytime TV.
