Kirsten Dunst

According People Magazine, Kirsten Dunst is now a German citizen. Dunst told German tabloid magazine B.Z. that she enjoys being able to film in Europe without a problem.

“I’m now a real international lady,”she told B.Z.

Her willingness to become a German citizen might have to do with her heritage: her father is German and her mother is Swedish. She admits that despite only speaking a little bit of German, she would enjoy starring in a German film someday. If she does, maybe her “little bit of German” will come in handy.

Dunst also admits she would like to have an apartment in Berlin:

“I would prefer to buy an apartment in Berlin. It’s such a young city, and right now so much is happening in Berlin.”

SheKnows admires Dunst for making her German dreams a reality. This definitely counts as an unusual career move for an American actress, let alone an actress as accomplished as Dunst. She is best known for her roles in Marie Antoinette, Bring it On, Melancholia, and Spider Man. Maybe her big move will lead to more great movies in her career. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
