Kemp Muhl

Kemp Muhl, born Charlotte Kemp Muhl, is a 23-year-old top model hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, and she’s basically the prototype of a supermodel. Tall and willowy but not bony with long brown hair, mesmerizing dark eyes, and the kind of lips the Real Housewives spend thousands trying to mimic.

This brunette beauty was discovered at an Elite Model contest when she was 13 and her career has been booming ever since. She’s signed to about a dozen agencies including Chicago’s Factor Women, Elite NY, Elite Milan, Models 1 in London, and Bon Image Corp in Tokyo.

Between walking in shows, appearing in campaigns for Donna Karen, Sam Edelman, D&G, Tommy Hilfiger, and fulfilling a contract for Maybelline that lands her in nearly every print ad and commercial, it’s surprising that she has time for anything else. But she does.

Kemp Muhl isn’t just a spunky, fun, out-there supermodel, she’s also a singer, businesswoman, and aspiring actress. So far her acting career has landed her in a few music videos, but musically she’s doing much more. She formed a record company called Chimera Music with her boyfriend Sean Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and together they are also making music. Their band is named The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, after a short story written by Kemp, and from what I’ve heard of them, they’re pretty darn good.

Having seen her model and sing/play multiple instruments, this girl is a total creative star in my eyes. I love the free-spirited energy she gives off in interviews and will be adding her to my list of people to keep track of. Below is a video Sean Lennon and Kemp performing their song “Rainbows in Gasoline” live.
