Katy Perry

Katy Perry has found a home on the Billboards Hot 100′s List, making her the first artist in over 10 years to remain on the 100 charts for a consecutive year. Her smash hit “E.T” (feat. Kanye West) has made a remarkable jump from the lucky 13 to the  No.1 spot in the past week.

The pop queen continues to go toe to toe with English artist, Adele and her indisputable classic, “Rolling in the Deep.”

Perry has hits on the 100′s list dating back to May 2010. Without question, she manages to pick just the right tracks to please her fans and gain their support.  Songs like “California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream,” Girls,” “Firework” and now “E.T.,” keep this star out shining her competition.

Her album, Teenage Dream, debuted August 2010 and sold more than 190,000 copies in the first week of its release. “E.T.,”  celebrates the unique and extraordinary lover. The song embraces the originality and blaring love for such a foreign individual. Perry has reached relationship bliss, and nothing on this earth could possibly compete. Not even Adele.

Who will be victorious? This battle is definitely one for the books.
