Emmanuelle Alt's second Vogue Paris cover

Kate Moss covers newly appointed editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt’s second Vogue Paris. The summer issue features Kate being manhandled with a bold headline reading “Kiss Me Kate!”

While I commend her for using another model on her cover, Gisele covered her first issue, Alt’s version of French Vogue seems a little safe. Carine always seemed bolder and willing to push the envelope. It look as if Alt is becoming Anna Wintour, except instead of celebrities she’s using well-known models. Alt’s magazine features no nudity, which is what Carine was well-known for, not that I need to see nude or semi-nude models and I commend her for not taking that route, I just think she needs to find a way to spice up French Vogue.

This is only Alt’s second issue for the iconic magazine, so I’ll try to remain optimistic and hope that the third or fourth issue is a little more exciting.
