Kanye West

On Wednesday SXSW goers in Austin, Texas were pleasantly surprised by a guest appearance and performance by the great Kanye West. Whether you love him or hate him, if you are a music fan you want to see Kanye perform. We haven’t hear much from or about Kanye since he premiered his second collection at Paris Fashion Week back in February.

Kanye seemed to have magically appeared at SOB’s 30th anniversary party in Austin. He performed alongside Big Sean who is signed to Kanye’s labels, G.O.O.D. Music. Also on stage was popular rap artist 2 Chainz. I was shocked to hear about Kanye performing with 2 Chainz, but apparently they are good friends and have been working together.

2 Chainz told Rapfix Live,

“One thing that people may not know is that I’ve been working with Kanye West for the past year. We have records together, we have ideas that we’re planning on releasing to the world real soon. I’m tryna get my ‘N—as in Paris’ swag up.”

Kanye slowly walked on stage and performed Big Sean’s hit single, “Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay” along Sean. Then Kanye continued on to do what I would consider to be a classic song, “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.”

I wish I could have been there that night, it would have changed my life!
