When Justin Timberlake wants a musical comeback, he means it. It’s only been two weeks since the singer-turned-actor (turned singer again) surprised the world, collaborating with Jay-Z for “Suit & Tie,” and now he is releasing his lyric music video. But does it deliver?

Why of course it does! Smooth and classy, Timberlake really brought sexy back this time. The video begins taking us back to what feels like a past decade, yet with a very contemporary vibe. And I never imagined that reverse strip tease could be even sexier than the real thing. Don’t you agree?

This is definitely a huge improvement from his past videos. The other day, strolling down memory lane, I stumbled upon a parody of his “Cry Me a River” music video. I usually don’t like parodies because they mock someone’s hard work, but this one I actually found hilarious. It’s not just funny because it replicates the original video, but it also captures the thoughts that were in my head. And until I saw the parody, I realized how bad Timberlake’s videos used to be. Take a look at JT’s video…

And now the parody…

Uncanny, no? Well, at least now we know the past stays in the past, and we’re ready for Timberlake to sweep us off our feet some more. Timberlake’s long-awaited third album, The 20/20 Experience is due out later this year, and I can’t wait! Especially for the anticipated tour.

Will you be picking up a copy of his new album?
