Krysten Ritter for JewelMint

The result of a partnership between actress Kate Bosworth and stylist Cher Coulter, JewelMint is a succesful line of exclusive jewelry they started back in 2010. It’s since received praise from celebrities and non-celebrities alike. Not too long after its launch they started a guest curator series during which different celebrities design a piece for the line with a portion of the proceeds going to a charity of their choosing.

This month’s guest curator is actress Krysten Ritter and it’s been a hit. She designed a pair of geometric enamel and gold-plated Bermuda earrings.  Half of the proceeds from the earrings are going to Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization. The $30 earrings were originally released in March and have been sold out twice. This is the 3rd time the earrings are being re-stocked and sold.

Past celebrity curators for JewelMint have been Jared Eng, Camilla Belle, Rachel Bilson, and Zoe Saldana. This is a classic charitable move that benefits all parties involved. Having the notoriety of a celebrity designing for the line, brings attention to the jewelry collection as well as the charity. To find out more about the guest curator series, check out their website under the Giving Back tab.

Here is a short video of Krysten describing the Bermuda earrings and why she chose Autism Speaks:
